As our cherished community of Corpus Christi undergoes a significant transition, the Most Reverend Jacques Fabre-Jeune, CS, is diligently working to appoint a successor for the Parish with deliberate intention. This crucial responsibility ensures that our spiritual oasis not only survives but thrives. Selecting a new pastor represents a substantial responsibility that requires careful consideration. Bishop Fabre-Jeune has expressed his intention to fill the vacancies left by Father Joseph and Father Gustavo as quickly as possible. However, external circumstances have necessitated an extended timeline, likely stretching until June. During this period, he will consult with the vicar forane and conduct thorough inquiries to determine who will best serve the unique needs of Corpus Christi. This comprehensive approach highlights the Bishop’s unwavering dedication to providing the Parish with a pastor who is not only qualified but also attuned to the community's spiritual needs.

It is important to acknowledge that throughout this pastoral search, the spiritual vitality of Corpus Christi remains robust and unhindered. Reverend Filip Wodecki will continue to celebrate Holy Masses and administer the sacraments, while Reverend Bruce Barnett and Reverend Jose Quilcate will uphold our Spanish-language services. The Very Reverend Canon Gary Linsky, VF, VP, will remain actively involved in overseeing the spiritual well-being of our community, ensuring that sacraments are delivered and regular services proceed seamlessly. Furthermore, our established organizational framework is well-prepared to support the Parish's mission effectively. This strong foundation assures us that our spiritual needs remain a priority as we look forward to welcoming our new pastor.
