You can help support our Life Teen's attancdence at the 2025 National Catholic Youth Conference!  Please take a neon-colored envelope in the narthex of the church and place your donation inside. Fill out the prayer request card in each envelope, and our teens will pray for your intentions at the conference. 

Beginning October 5, parishioners will have the opportunity to complete a sign up sheet in the narthex after Mass for our “Spiritual Adoption” program!  This program is a pledge to pray for nine months for a baby in danger of abortion.  On Father’s Day (June 21, 2026) we will have a “birthday party” for the children we prayed for.  For more information about the program, please see the sign up sheets in the narthex of the church.

OCIA is in need of  sponsors (and godparents for 7 who have not been baptized), to accompany those who wish to become Catholic. The qualifications to become a Sponsor or Godparent are : be a confirmed Catholic, at least 16 years old. A godparent makes a lifelong commitment whereas a sponsor does not Responsibilities of the sponsor/godparent include attending Mass with the catechumen, participating in some or all OCIA classes, (which are held 3 out of 4 Wednesday eves from 7-8:30 pm) introducing the catechumen to other parishioners, inviting the catechumen to parish events, spending time with them in prayer, discussing Mass readings and participating in the OCIA rites and ceremonies.  If you think you’d like to fill this role, please contact Deacon Dave dkepler@charlestondiocese.org or call the  parish office.

Corpus Christi Catholic Church invites  all    parishioners to the 30th   Anniversary Mass of our new church on Monday, November 10, at   6:00 PM.   A Eucharistic Procession inside the church will follow. Afterwards, we invite you to join us in the parish hall for a hamburger dinner.  If you plan to attend our celebration dinner, we ask that you pick up a free ticket for each member of your party.  Tickets will be   distributed after each weekend Mass now through November 2.  You may also pick up tickets at the office through Thursday, October 30. We  eagerly await your presence as we celebrate this special anniversary of our new church!

Save the date! Young Adults of Corpus Christi will have their next “Theology on Tap” on Tuesday, November 11, at 7:00 PM at Savage Craft Ale Works in West Columbia with Fr. Erik Roman (a priest at St. Peter’s in Columbia).  

Join “Catholics For Greater Activity” on Wednesday, November 12, at 11:00 AM in the Parish Hall.   This month, we will be joined by Rayshell Johnson, from Tech Advancements to support aging and disabled adults.

The Life Teen youth group will be hosting Advent Wreath sales after all Masses in the vestibule the weekends of November 15-16 and November 29-30 to help raise monies to attend our state and regional youth conferences. Our sale will include:, Advent wreaths, Advent candles, Advent calendars, and St. Christopher visor medals. Life Teen thanks you for your support and looks forward to seeing you after all Masses in the upcoming weeks!

Help make someone's Christmas Holiday a little brighter! Our tree will be up from November 15 through December 7. Beginning next weekend, you can help by taking a tag off the Giving Tree to donate to Families Helping Families, Corpus Christi Assistance Ministry, Lexington Extended Care and local families. Please return your gift unwrapped to the church by December 7 with the tag attached. We are also in need of gift boxes, tissue paper and tape. Thank you for your generosity and help in bringing a smile to so many faces! 

Join us on Friday, November 21,  in the parish hall from 5:00-8:00 PM for our Family Pizza Night. Our menu will include pizza by the pie (or slice) with seven available toppings.  Your meal will also include salad, dessert, and drinks. Cost is donations only and donations will go towards our Knight’s of Columbus   activities.
