Loving Christ, Loving Others

Corpus Christi Catholic Church is a welcoming Catholic parish where everyone joins together to grow closer to God. We share the treasure of our Catholic faith and, centered in the Holy Eucharist, strive to be authentic disciples of the Lord Jesus to all.

We bring people to the Lord Jesus, form them into authentic disciples, and then send them out to transform the world.

Upcoming Events

  • September 17- Lector Training Session

Father Frei will offer a Lector Training Session on Thursday, September 17 at 7:00 p.m., followed by an Extraordinary Eucharistic Minister Training Session at 7:30 p.m. the same evening. Both sessions will take place in the church. If you feel called to serve in either of these roles during the celebration of the Mass, we encourage you to attend the appropriate session.

  • October 3- Mass of Remembrance

A Mass of Remembrance will be held on Saturday, October 3rd at 8:30 AM. A Mass of Remembrance is a sacred time to pray for our loved ones who have died. We will gather as a parish to commend the faithful departed to God’s mercy, to ask for the repose of their souls, and to find hope in Christ’s promise of eternal life. All are invited to join us in honoring and praying for those who have gone before us in faith.

  • October 3- Blessing of the Animals

Father Frei will be blessing our furry friends! Join us on Saturday, October 3 at noon in the front of the church for our Blessing of the Animals.  For safety reasons, we kindly ask that all animals arrive with a leash or appropriete carrier.

  • October 4- Life Chain

Life Chain is a peaceful, prayerful public witness remembering the more than 65 million lives lost to abortion since Roe v. Wade. We pray for our nation, for those in crisis situations, and for an end to abortion. It is a visible sign of Christian solidarity affirming the sanctity of human life from conception to natural death.

In 2025, 2,534 abortions were reported in South Carolina. This year’s Life Chain invites us to join thousands nationwide in a united witness for life. Please arrive by 1:10 PM in the church for instructions and Exposition of the Holy Eucharist. Signs will be available in the narthex. We will form the Life Chain outside Corpus Christi Church along Augusta Road, then return for Benediction.

If you cannot stand outside, you are welcome to pray before the Holy Eucharist inside the church from 1:10–2:45 PM.

  • October 10- America Needs Fatima Rosary Rally

Join us on Saturday, October 10 at noon for our America Needs Fatima Rosary Rally. We will gather outside the Old Church to pray the Holy Rosary for the repentance and conversion of our country, entrusting our nation to the loving intercession of Our Lady.

  • Current Volunteer Opportunities

    Marian Oktoberfest Volunteers Needed

Corpus Christi is seeking friendly volunteers with eager hearts to help make our Marian Oktoberfest a success! There are several areas where you can serve — food and drink, games, and more. No experience is necessary; we simply ask that you call Maria Coller at the office to sign up.

    OCIA Sponsors Needed

Corpus Christi is seeking sponsors for our OCIA (Order of Christian Initiation of Adults) Program. Sponsors are committed Catholics who accompany a Catechumen or Candidate as they prepare to receive the Sacraments of Initiation. A sponsor is not a teacher or spiritual director, but a witness and companion on the journey of faith—offering prayerful support, encouragement, and a living example of Catholic life. If you’re interested in learning more, please contact Scott Kramer in the Parish Office at 803‑359‑4391 or skramer@charlestondiocese.org.

    Volunteers Needed for Gift Shop

We are prayerfully seeking joyful, faith‑filled volunteers to help welcome guests, assist with purchases, and keep our parish gift shop a place of warmth and inspiration after our weekend Masses. No experience is needed—just a willing heart and a desire to serve the Lord. By joining this ministry, you help sustain our parish’s mission and touch lives in ways you may never fully see this side of heaven. If you feel the Holy Spirit stirring your heart, please contact Deborah Teti at (803) 834‑1852 or djteti53@gmail.com to learn more.
