August Offering Envelope Update

Cathedral Corporation has printed and mailed our offertory envelope packets since 2018. Cathedral canceled the July mailing while addressing a major production backlog and later told us that it expected the August mailing to return to schedule. Based on that information, we announced that the August packets would arrive this week. We have now learned that Cathedral remains behind on mailings for a number of parishes, including Corpus Christi, and that our August packets still have not been mailed. Cathedral has not provided a mailing or delivery date.

We know how frustrating this is, especially after an entire month without mailed envelopes, and we are sorry that this has happened again. We are actively comparing other envelope providers so that we can select a more dependable option for the Parish.

For this weekend, August replacement envelopes will be available at Mass. You may also use an older offertory envelope from home or Online Giving. If you use a replacement or older envelope, please write your full name on it and use a separate envelope for each gift designation, such as Offertory, Assistance Ministry, Disaster Assistance, Building Renovation, or the Catholic Appeal of South Carolina, so each gift can be recorded correctly.
