Happy New Year

How fitting that the calendar year begins with the Solemnity of the Blessed Virgin Mary, the Mother of God! She is the perfect example of discipleship, the greatest Christian before the word Christian even came to be. It is her “Yes” to God’s will that makes her the greatest disciple. The word is called fiat and Mary did it perfectly.

As we launch into 2023, each of us should take a moment and ask God what is he is asking us to say yes to. If each of us offers our own fiat, the impact will be astounding as God builds His kingdom and His glory in our hearts and in our community.
