Statement from Father Joseph: "My friends, I am saddened to share with you the news that Father Robert "Bob" Sayer suddenly passed away. Details about Corpus Christi's memorial Mass and the funeral arrangements will be shared with you in the upcoming days. Father Bob arrived at Corpus Christi on February 1, 2001, and served as the Parish's pastor until the year 2011. Please pray for the repose of his soul, for his family, and parishioners at St. Mary on Yonges Island, and St. Frederick and St. Stephen Mission on Edisto Island."

Eternal rest grant unto him, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon him. May the souls  of all the faithful departed, through the mercy of God, rest in peace.
