Event: Novena for the Poor Souls in Purgatory Dates: October 31 to November 8 Time: 12:00 p.m. Summary: A new novena commenced today, October 31. On each of the nine days of prayer, we meditate on the suffering that each and every soul must endure in purgatory. Every soul that remains tainted by venial sin at the time of death, will need to pass through purgatory in order to be cleansed of their sins, and be granted entry into heaven. Please join Father Joseph in prayer seeking to help free souls from purgatory. Event: Distribution of Communion from the Side Door Date: Sunday, November 1 Time: 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. Summary: For those who cannot attend the Holy Mass and have to watch the liturgical celebration from home, please come to Corpus Christi every Sunday from noon to 1:00 p.m. An Extraordinary Minister of Holy Communion will be outside the building, next to the Columbarium and Prayer Garden, distributing Communion with the greatest reverence, following the safety guidelines.
Event: Youth Ministry Date: Sunday, November 1 Time: 6:15 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. Summary: All high schoolers are invited to participate in the Stay Alive weekly gathering. Every Sunday, the youth will meet outdoors in the parking lot area. There will be social distancing and everyone will be wearing masks. (Bring a lawn chair.) We ask all parents of high schoolers to encourage their children to participate in Stay Alive - a Ministry that is drawing young people to responsible participation in the life, mission, and work of the Catholic faith community.
Event: All Souls’ Day Mass of Remembrance Date: Monday, November 2 Time: 5:00 p.m. Summary: A Mass of Remembrance will be celebrated on Monday to commemorate our faithful departed. Everyone is invited to bring a photo of a loved one. The photo frame will be placed in front of the altar together with a lit memorial candle. The candles will be provided by the Parish, placed in the vestibule area (suggested donation is $5).
Event: Evening of Remembrance Celebration Date: Monday, November 2 Time: 6:30 p.m. Summary: Following All Souls’ Day Mass on Monday, Corpus Christi will have an Evening of Remembrance Celebration. The service will remember the faithful departed inured in the Columbarium, as well as our parishioners that have passed away during the calendar year 2020 - commencing with peaceful music, followed by the Holy Rosary. The service will take place in the church building, and will end in the Columbarium and Prayer Garden.

Event: Bereavement Ministry Date: Wednesday, November 3 Time: 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m Summary: The Parish will commence Beloved on Wednesday, a bereavement ministry to members and nonmembers of Corpus Christi who have experienced the death of a loved one and need assistance in the healing process. This outreach is facilitated by a trained minister who offers a compassionate, consoling and encouraging presence. The Ministry will meet in the Parish Hall on the first Wednesday of the month. Event: Chicken Dinner Drive-Thru Date: November 14 Time: 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Summary: The Knights of a Columbus are sponsoring the Chicken Dinner Fundraiser event, drive-thru style. The purpose of the fundraiser is to raise money for vocation and Church ministries. The sign-up sheets are in the vestibule area of the church building.
