Corpus Christi is honored and delighted to host the great Vince Ambrosetti, 2001 Catholic Artist of the Year and three-time Grammy nominee, for a three-day Parish Mission titled "Future Full of Hope" from Sunday, September 11, to Tuesday, September 13, starting every evening at 6:30 p.m.
This invitation is for the entire Columbia area.
On October 4, 1977, Ambrosetti founded International Liturgy Publications, the oldest free-standing non-profit publisher of sacred music for the Catholic church. Among other engagements, Ambrosetti sang his song "Sanctuary" during Communion at Mother Teresa's funeral in Calcutta, and by invitation of the Vatican performed for St. Pope John Paul II at Saint Peter's Basilica. His music has been placed in the Vatican archives alongside the works of Vivaldi, Puccini, Verdi and Corelli. He has presented more than 700 parish missions, seminars, and concerts in all 50 states, Canada, Ireland, Israel, Italy, and the Philippines.
