First Reconciliation and First Communion
What is priority for my child, my family, and myself? Which faith formation program should we follow?
Families With Christ was developed strategically and purposely for children, teens and adults to simultaneously cover Confraternity of Christian Doctrine (CCD), Sacramental Preparation for Children (SPC), the Rite of Christian Initiation for Adults (RCIA), and Continuous Adult Formation all at the same time. Families With Christ precedes, accompanies and enriches all other forms of catechesis, providing the resources for families to live Christian practices at home, whilst building-up the confidence and ability of parents to share faith and values with their children.
In this process, we have designed an eight-session curriculum as an additional resource to assist parents with the preparation of children who are about to receive their First Communion this coming spring.
The First Communion program is an e-learning platform tailored to your child’s age, which combines reading material and supplemental videos, in addition to brief assessments.
Please be sure to complete with your child the weekly sessions of the First Communion online program (please see below), simultaneously with the weekly modules of Families With Christ.
