The Parish will continue to distribute Communion for one full hour after the conclusion of the 11:00 a.m. Holy Mass on Sunday. Pass the word to relatives and friends that Corpus Christi is encouraging every Catholic person who is in trance and cannot attend Mass because of the pandemic (high risk / anxiety disorder) to watch the Holy Mass from home or any convenient location, and, afterwards, to come to the Parish from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m. to receive Holy Communion outside the church building - next to the Columbarium and Prayer Garden. Communion will be distributed by an Extraordinary Minister of Holy Communion, with the greatest reverence, following the safety guidelines. On another note, we will also distribute Communion right after the conclusion of the 5:00 p.m. Saturday Vigil Mass for those who watched the Mass outside the church building.

Though the Orangeburg County circuit dismissed the State of South Carolina from the SAFE Grant lawsuit case, the judge has not issued a ruling on the rest of the lawsuit yet. Nevertheless, the lawsuit is not halting the application process for SAFE Grants. A total of 2,500 grants will be awarded on a first-come, first-serve basis, then distributed through a lottery after that to allocate the balance of available grant funds, as needed. If you are a parent who wants a Catholic school education for your child(ren), and would be interested in applying for SAFE Grants (up to $6,500 per student for use toward tuition), click on the bottom below to learn more about the Program.

For more information concerning the new two Columbarium units, please contact the Parish Office.
